Trunktracker IV technology allows users nationwide monitoring of all their public service systems including all groups within a specific trunked system: EDACS™, Motorola, E.F. Johnson. Follow VHF High Band, UHF 800/900 MHz trunked public safety and public service systems as well. Is also capable of receiving analog police and emergency as well as digital signals, all at the same time!Note: Not compatible with AGEIS, ASTRO or ESAS systems.

    The BCD396T pre-programmed service search makes it easy to find interesting frequencies used by public safety, news media TV broadcast audio, Amateur (ham) radio, CB radio, Family Radio Service, railroad, aircraft, marine, racing and weather frequencies. Also includes Data Skip, Memory Backup and Direct Channel Access - Jump directly to any channel without stepping through other channels or entering menu mode.

    The BCD396T comes with an RF attenuation feature. If you are near an unusually strong signal source, the signal may overload the scanner. The RF attenuation features works in all modes and reduces the incoming signal strength to prevent stronger signals from overloading the scanner. These Bearcat scanners are fast-up to 100 channels per second.

    The BCD396T has a bright, adjustable backlight LCD screen with alpha tags to identify the station you are listening to. The BCD396T operates in AM, FM, NFM and WFM (depending on band). The keyboard can be locked and has a mute function allowing you to turn audio on and off.

    The BCD396T includes the P-25 digital card, antenna, belt clip, AC Adapter/charger and BCD396T owner's manual.

This does not in any way affect our 1 year warranty to replace any defective scanner with a new scanner within the 1 year period from the date of purchase.
